Flezen respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This policy outlines our procedures for handling copyright infringement claims.
1 DMCA Overview
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is a federal law that provides protections for copyright owners and establishes procedures for addressing infringement claims. Flezen complies with the DMCA and maintains a policy of removing infringing content upon notification.
Note: Flezen does not host, store, or control user uploads. We act as a service provider and remove content upon valid DMCA notification.
2 Copyrighted Material on Flezen
Flezen users are prohibited from uploading, sharing, or distributing copyrighted material without proper authorization. This includes:
- Music, audio, and sound recordings without licensing
- Movies, videos, and television content
- Books, ebooks, and literary works
- Software and computer programs
- Artwork, photographs, and designs
3 Submitting a DMCA Notification
If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed, you may submit a DMCA notification containing:
Your Contact Information
Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
Work Description
Description of the copyrighted work being infringed
Infringing Material Location
The URL or specific location of the infringing material on Flezen
Good Faith Statement
A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is unauthorized
Penalty Statement
Declaration under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate
Signature
Physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative
4 Counter-Notice Procedure
If you believe content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice. To be valid, your counter-notice must include:
- Your identification and contact information
- Identification of the removed material and its original location
- Statement that you have a good faith belief the removal was erroneous
- Your signature and consent to jurisdiction
We will restore the content unless the copyright holder files a court action within 10 business days.
5 Repeat Infringers
Flezen maintains a zero-tolerance policy for repeat copyright infringers.
Users who repeatedly upload infringing content will have their accounts terminated, files removed, and may be permanently banned from the platform. We take copyright protection seriously and will cooperate with law enforcement when appropriate.
6 Disabling Access to Infringing Content
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notification, Flezen will:
Immediately disable access to the allegedly infringing material
Notify the affected user of the removal
Remove any monetization or earnings associated with the content
Preserve evidence for potential legal proceedings
7 Response Time
Flezen commits to processing valid DMCA notifications within 24-48 hours. We understand the urgency of copyright infringement and prioritize these matters accordingly.
